Default Factory Sony Upgrade

I have had my truck for a few days and can't get over how good the radio sounds. I would say it is better than the radio I had in my previous Lexus, whick was supposed to be pretty good sound system. I also want to add that I am no sound expert and couldn't tell the difference between a good system from a very good system.

Here's my question. How good is the Sony system? Am I just excided about my new truck and think it sounds better then it is?

How does it compare to the audiophlie system?

The Sony is the stock radio, it's the one I'm saking about. I don't think I made my post very clear.

the OEM stereo in the 2009 F150 is NOTHING like the stereos in the 2004-2008 models. Upgrading is a bit of a challenge.

kits are made for aftermarket things, just look around

you can keep stock tho and upgrade sub/amp/door speakers

get some nice speakers, amp, sub nother amp then get yourself a rf 360.1, you dont need the expandability of the .2

actually, you didnt give the info, yo said "kits are made for aftermarket things". The new design of the stereo and hvac system, including the display screen at the top of the center stack make upgrading a bit difficult. Have you performed this on a 2009 truck yet?
