Default Factory HU

Hey all,
I have an 05 F-150 with the single cd hu,Ive purchased two types of ipod adapters and none of them are recognized by the hu,I recently found out the AUX on my radio is nonfunctional. My question is will a radio out of a fusion or edge or mustang work?or should I stick with a radio out of an f-150?Thanks in advance for your time.

Do you actually have an "AUX" button? If so, the best kit... by far... is the iSimple kit. I installed one in my '05. It litterally took 15-20 minutes to install and worked beautifully.

I don't think that the single CD players had the AUX capability. That was reserved for the 6 disc.

I would agree. I just spent an hour 'installing' the isimple but only to find out that is won't work with the stock, single disc player in my 2004 F150. I tried just about everything and then had the bright idea to google it It seems like i fyou upgrade to a 6 disc/mp3 factory HU, you are in the chips. Good luck and let me know if you find out something different.
