Might be worth it instead of buying parts and modifying them.

Lol..I understand it takes time to design and build things... personally I think that they are missing the prime time to sell dash kits! Truck is on its 3rd year with the same dash..my thought is they would sell more when these trucks are still new and peeps got the mod bug. Time passes and x number of customers couldnt wait and went other routes and doubt they would reinvest?

While myself and op agree, about a bezel being put of asap.
These things take time to design, and function with all the OEM Systems. Ford makes it harder and harder every year for aftermarket HU companies. Things like Sync 3 and such also delay the process!
If it was Easy, theyd have them for sale already...

You guys actually LIKE that thing??? While I will FULLY agree that it looks like years better than the Metra, it still looks soooo cheap and generic for such an expensive truck. Just my .02 worth take. Besides iirc you will still have some modification to do to fit an aftermarket radio because there is some sort of crash bar directly behind the factory TFT screen....when you take the screen out, which is only about an inch thick or so, the crash bar is right there. I think you have to cut it out. Also if you have Nav and sync3 there maybe another obstacle. Anyone have any other info? I admit I may not have the whole picture. In to learn more.

So yeah...this one looks better than metra...the old metra had crappy reviews, this one had good reviews.
Other members have modified their factory dash and have had no issue putting a double din on top...perhaps thats why this dash kit is where it is?

Beggers can't be choosers.. I would prefer the Alpine integrated dash with nav...3 things...they dont make one for 15 plus, its 3500 bucks, and I already have a kenwood system to put in
