I see you started an new thread....According the the diagram on the old thread it looks like the wiring is basically the same for the 4.2 and MFT radios. Not sure if what you have is the same. What year truck did you get the NAV from? You may just have to be the guinea pig and tear it all apart and then let us know. BTW what did the NAV cost you?

I got the nav out of a 2013 f150 so same year as my truck and I have the 4.2". I hope its just plug and play. So your saying the apim module is at the back of the mft screen so no need to dig around for it. I got the sucker for 200$... a steal, out of a 7k km truck. Anyhow im planning on picking it up tomorrow couple hours away but I will probably take it out myself so please let me know if there is anything else I should pull for it to work while im inthere. Thanks.

Look at the other thread that you replied on. There is a diagram of the parts of both. As long as it isn't a Sony then it looks like all you will need is the dash parts and no separate amp.The sync (APIM) module is located under the tray on top of the dash. I don't know if they are interchangeable.

Under the dash? Are you reffering to the storing area on the dash? Under that cover? I might aswell pull it incase I need it.

So turns out I only got the bezel. They made a mistake in their inventory and had all the parts for 200 when they wanted 200 each which in my opinion is bs. Drove 3 hrs to get the parts and then they tell me they cant sell it for 200. Tells me he can do 500 bucks for all of it because he feels bad for the messup. Still cheap but oh well not worth the risk for me now I dont have to mess with all the stuff. I got the bezel for 125. Will just go with a tablet install then.... makes it much easyer too! Thanks for your help.

Thinking of going with the tablet option also. Let me know if the new NAV bezel will work with the old 4.2 screen climate controls please. Thanks
