Default Everything but the sub...

I've pretty much figured out what I am going to get, but the thing I am having a hard time with is the sub.

Here's what I currently am looking at getting:

(1) Kenwood KDC-BT645U Head Unit

(4) Infinity Kappa 682.9cf 6x8 Coaxial Speakers
--- (1) Infinity Kappa Four Amp

(1) SuperCrewSound Double 10" Sub Box

(2) 10" Subs ???
--- (1) Infinity Kappa One Amp

The issue I am running in to is that the 10" sub box has a 5.25" max depth. On top of that, it only has a .80 CF air space per sub.

I am having a hard time finding a sub that would work well in the SCS box. This is also the reason why I dropped from 2 12's to 2 10's, because of the depth and airspace issues.

Any suggestions as to what 10" subs might work well with the SCS box?

Thanks!

How much power do you have and at what ohms? What is your price range?

Dayton HO maybe
or Infinity 1052W to match the rest of your system: http://www.ikesound.com/product-exec...Infinity+1052W

The Infinity Kappa One outputs at 4 ohms: 500 watts x 1 chan, 8 ohms: 800 watts x 1 chan.

So with 2 10" subs @ 4 ohms (8 total ohms), I would be looking at about 400w per sub.

Edit: It looks like the Dayton HO might be the best bet right now.

You mean 800RMS @ two ohms, right?

The Dayton should do the job. http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=295-462

800watts RMS if you buy the Single Voice Coil Subs With a 4 Ohm impedence and wire them in parrallel thus dropping the ohm load down to 2ohms and personally i would go with the infinity 1060w's SVC 4Ohm and will do everything you want them to.

Wouldn't it be @ 4 ohms considering the subs are 4 ohms and the amp is outputting at 8 ohms? (or is it the other way around?)

From http://www.infinitysystems.com/car/p...=US&Region=USA

Power Output 800 watts RMS x 1 channel at 2 ohms and ≤ 1% THD + N
So you need a 2 ohm load, to get that you need either two 4 ohm SVC subs, or two 2 ohm DVC subs:
