Woody2010. Did you ever get your VX7022 installed? I am interested in how it went. What did you use for interface harness? Pictures? I have a 2012 with Sync. How well does the VX7022 work with Sync?

For the money, I don't think you can beat it. I needed it primarily for the back up camera option. The navigation works great and it's a bonus. Sync pretty much disappears but you can buy a module to make your steering wheel controls work.

Do you have any photos of the installation? If you didn't connect up the Sync with the adapter harness (about 125 bucks), what happens to the Sync display that sits in the pocket above the new bezel? Is if just a blank screen? What did you do with it?

Sorry that the pics aren't great, but its dark outside. I used the Metra interface adapter. It was $44 on Amazon.
