Congrats. At least you know you are getting everything you need. On the surface, Crutchfields prices are hard to swallow but when you package things together with the discounts and freebies, they are hard to beat.

Plus it will leave some money left over for other projects.

Sony XAV-65
Pac Unit C2R-FRD1
Metra Radio Bezel
Sony XSGT5738F Speakers

Total: $300

The speakers were $50, with a $50 discount when bundled with the Head Unit, so essentially free.
Once I added the Pac unit and the radio bezel, it was more expensive to order from Amazon, not even counting the free speakers.

Now I just gotta order the backup camera
You don't need that PAC. It is for integration to factory amp set ups.

Well if I end up not using it I can always return it.

It's already ordered though so too late.

We'll just see when I do the installation this coming weekend.

Order the correct one now and then you can finish your install this week

Then what is the correct one.

Every document I have come across, including the one at Pacs website, lists that Pac module as the correct one. If it's not the correct one, please point me to a part number, a name, or something other then "generic ford plug", because that comes up with hundreds of hits, most of them not applicable to a vehicle newer than 2006.

Really, if you have some other information, please share it. Myself, as a noob, has not been able to come across any definitive answer of a cheaper alternative than the $50 for the PAC module.

The PAC looks like it does alot more than I need it to, agreed, and I would like a cheaper alternative

You can use this one if you don't have SYNC or SWC. You will also need the antenna adapter.

Thank you Wyo, this confirms what I thought, just the old fashioned Ford plug.

Kytann, it is possible you could pick this up at a Best Buy or any local audio shop if you have one available.....this way you can have it ready for the install.....or order online if the timing works.

or
