Default Double din

What is a good double din stereo or my 05 f150 XL SCab? Fair priced and something somewhat easy to control. Some of these things are harder to use than my computer. I wouldn't even object to a stock stereo from a better model. I just have a basic radio in it now.

I have no clue to what a double din stereo is, but if you want a great deck that will last a while, and then some, try Alpine. I've had their basic stereo, all the way to their highest model, and love(ed) both of them. The one that I consider basic cost me between $200-400 from a place called Ulitmate Electronics when they were still in business. I've never had any problems with it. The other deck is a touchscreen, and that I recieced from Bestbuy. It's upwards of +$900 from Bestbuy, depending on what day of the week it is. I have also not had any major issues with this stereo. Though you can buy these from any store, more or less, I was just telling you where I got them from. Sorry, if my comment was not informational to double din stereos...

I'm running a JVC KW-NT50HDT in my 2006 Scab XLT. Best Buy had the display model on sale for $359 and it was originally a $999 list price unit. It's easy to navigate through the menus and really easy to type in a destination on the GPS. Audio section sounds good without an external amp and has 7 band EQ. DVD/GPS/Bluetooth/Back up camera/HD Radio. I bought the 4yr extended warranty and had it installed for under $500 total. I just bought this last week so I can't speak for longivity.

The reason I mentioned all this is to check with different BestBuy stores in your area for a deal like this one. They also had a Sony on clearance for $50 more.

Pioneer avh-4400. Awesome deck at a reasonable price. You will not go wrong. Pick up a bypass for $10 so that you can have video without having break engaged.

I just grounded the wire to the same ground I use for one of my compressor switches on my dash. Worked fine for me

Alpine navi, DVD, reverse camera, iPhone hookup, CD.....
These units are solid and trouble free...
Mine is a couple years old now, the only reason why I would switch is for a higher resolution screen which are few and far between with today's units....
Pioneer and their app radio 2 had some higher resolution screens, but having fiddled with them they seem to be full of issues and not well supported in the APP department....
I'm personally going to wait on an upgrade for higher resolution screens to be more common.

What model is that? I thought Alpine only made one touchscreen(...)? Mine is the IWA-9000, or whatever they call it. Has DVD/MP3/NAV, and I think it's a 7" screen, not sure though. Yours is definitely different from mine, looks new(er).

PS: IVA-W205? Now, I might want to ask where you bought it?
