I'm about to get a Pioneer AVH-P3300BT and want to get new door speakers (just powered off of the HU).

Any suggestions for my 2006 Lariat?

I just has some Focal IS 165 component speakers installed in my 2011 F150 and they sound fantastic. Running them off an 18w/ch Alpine HU.

this Pioneer TS-G6843R 6 x 8 In. 2-Way Speaker with 180 Watts Max. Power are in my wishlist together with this adapters
they are 30W nominal, so they are closer to the headunit without an amplifier.

This other ones are a fine option, but you may loose bass without an amplifier.

Yeah I want them to run off the HU without an amp, so I'll def look into that

I'm running 4 Focal 5X7's in my SuperCrew and damn they are nice!

Mine do have an amp. on them, but they are the cleanest sounding speaker you'll find. Not cheap though.

If running them off a head unit only, look at sensitivity levels, I run these
They are great and pushed off just HU power are really nice and bright.
