Default In Dash DVD Install?

Ok, I'm getting an eclipse AVN5435 in dash monitor and I just would like to know how hard is it to install this into my 08 screw? What parts would I need or what work would I need to do to install. I have installed stereos before but I just wanna know what the degree of difficulty is from stereo to in dash monitor

you need dash install kit, wiring harness, and there is a module on ebay that you will need so you can play movies while driving, a simple grounding out of the breakwire wont work

Oh. Ok. So its just like a regular stereo with the harness and such. I have seen the module s to be able to play movies while driving. I just wanted to know if its like installing a regular stereo.

So I went to crutch field to get the kit and now I decided to get the kenwood DNX512 in dash monitor/navigation and got their garmin hard drive navigation system too. Lol. Thanks loganberry. Now if I could just find out how to bypass the brake switch?

you dont really need a switch for the kenwood like you do the alpine, with the kenwood you can just ground out the break wire...you can hook it up to a toggle switch if you would like too, just put the parking break wire on one side, and ground out the other

hope that helps

it is illegal to watch tv up front, and the toggle is nice if you get pulled over, flip it the other way and the screen warning turns back on
