After spending so many hours trying to perfect the tune and make the F150 sound as good as my wife's car with after market HU, I finally accepted defeat and bought a Creative E5 DAC. Now I can plug in my iPhone and send digital signal via optical straight to the DSP.

Huge difference in sound quality. Highly recommend this or similar product for people who have an external DSP and stock HU.
