Default Couple quick HU install question

My Avic 700bt just arrived and I'm trying to iron out all the details for the install before this weekend.

The Scosche factory wiring harness that sonicelectronix sent me has two wires for dimmer. One says "dimmer" (orange/white) and one says "dimmer ground" (orange/black). The harness off of the Avic only has "illumination" (orange) which I gather is for the dimmer, but there is only one wire. Does the orange/white from the factory harness go to the orange wire on the HU and the orange/black get grounded? Or does that orange/black "dimmer ground" not get used at all? Is the "dimmer" and "Illumination" even the same thing?

Second question is: Should I hookup the reverse signal input if I dont have a backup camera?

Thanks in advance!

no reverse signal input, the wiring harness is very strait forward, so your first guess is usually right and in this case it was...orange/white to orange, orange black no use
