Default Which Components fit in Stock Locations?

Guys/ Gals,
I'm looking at a set of Component speakers, however I need them to fit exactly into the stock location with no cutting.

What are you guys running for components in the Front of these trucks? I have a 14 STX with the stock tweeters in the pillars.

Let me know what you have and if you like them.

Thanks

I'm going to be putting in some Infinity REF-8602cfx speakers that came out of my wife's car. They will fit, according to Crutchfield, with no problems.

Any 6x8 or 5x7 will fit in the stock door locations. Round speakers will need an adapter plate

You will not go wrong on the Crutchfield vehicle fit. Used their fit system in many of my vehicles, all perfect.

I am aware of Crutchfields vehicle fitment guide. I am also aware of the door speakers fitting using plates.

I am more worried about which tweeters will fit??

Default Tweeter size

Not sure the thread i read it in but the hole size for the stock tweeter pillar location is .75". However if you own a dremel its not to hard to resize the hole with a sanding wheel.

If you're talking about components with tweeters for the stock A pillar location you will need .75" tweeters. If you mount them flush mount you will need to dremel out the hole a little bit. You can also mount the tweeters behind the factory grills if you make a bracket or use hot glue to hold them in.

The Kicker CSS68's will work as will the JL C5-570's.

Here's a shot of mine:
