Clarion 445U vs new head unit
If I understand correctly, the 445U has basically the same power as a lot of the after market head units. Is this true? If I want to change out my head unit after installing the 445U, did I waste my money?

Alpine KTP-445U or Clarion XC1410
You're mixing them together, both are compact amps that work well. I like the Alpine version, the KTP-445U. I used one in another vehicle, and I might use one in my F150.
