Remember, just because you can, doesn't mean you should. If you can fit two 6s back there in the recommended dimensions, but can't get a single 8 box back there with the recommended box space, then your 6s might end up sounding better. Be sure to figure in speaker displacement when trying to figure out how much space you need too. That gets overlooked a lot.

Very true. I would try one then add a second later but I think I will be happy with one. I'm not into huge systems anymore.

I have just one and I think it's more than adequate to provide plenty off bass. I think two would be overwhelming, just my opinion of course.
