Default cd player, rip?

i was running wires from cd player to the rear extended cab speaker, and i turned my cd player on, it was working, but it was fuzzy. I moved wires around to see if they were not touching properly, and then it suddenly died. does anyone know ANYTHING that can help me. thank you.

check your ground and power inputs, they could be pinched somewhere, make sure its 1 solid wire and not multiple ones together

Start at the spot you were working from last, as that is most likely where the problem will be (remove the speaker wires you installed).
With the stock radios, if any one of the speakers is shorted, ALL speakers shut down.

Here's an easy way to identify if one of the speakers or their wiring is killing all audio output: unplug one speaker at a time and see if the radio audio comes back. If you unplug the first speaker and no improvement, plug that one back in, and go to the next.

The front doors have easily removed speaker covers, then 4 small head screws holding the speakers in place. On my standard cap, the rear "half door" panels have to be removed to gain access to the speakers (not hard to remove). The Screws may be easier if they have full doors; as I'd think they'd be like the front doors (a cover).

HERE IS AN UPDATE---

I unhooked all wires "igntion, hot, ground, battery" ... and put them back, still nothing. note the cd player will still eject the cd, but will not turn on.

i also tried hooking up my factory radio back to the truck, but it also did not come on.

thank you.

Check the antenna...I hooked mine up once but didnt bother to plug the antenna in and it did what yours is doing...I guess the antenna acts like some sort of ground as well...Just an idea....
