Default CD player install questions

Just have a few questions about a cd player install.....I remember a time when I used to do these weekly but its been so long.......
I included a link to the wiring diagram if anybody wants to see it
The orange/white wire coming out of the deck is labelled terminal illumination. The wiring harness has a orange wire but no white strip. Safe to hook it up so I can dim the display?
The deck harness has 2 yellow wires , memory back up lead and bus power lead, do they both go to the single yellow wire on the ford harness?
Also is it safe to hook up the green wires if you only have to speaker, as well as the blue wire if they are not currently used?
Black is supposed to be chassis ground but I am supposed to hook it into the ford harness?

What year and model is your truck? Sync, no sync. Nav, no Nav. Premium sound, basic? If you can answer these questions I can help you out.

I really dont want to have to sign up to an audio forum to hook up head unit, someone must know what is up with this thing
Head Unit

Heres the head unit wiring harness and the Ford harness I bought. I circled the head unit harness, Any idea why there are so many plugins on the Ford harness?
Notice the 2 yellow wires coming off the headunit w.h. and only one loose wire on the ford harness.

Im not a stereo installer but am an electrician.
It seems by what you described that those two wires should have constant battery power to maintain memory.
Again ,
Just a thought.
