if your looking for just subs id try hifi, they seem to have the best deals. what are you looking for exactly? deep bass off one sub or do u mind 2? just alittle more bass for your truck? do you have a box, does it go ontop or underneath the seat? thats all stuff you have to think of when your ordering subs. my friend from Gonzales ordered some off of hifi today an im gonna hook em up as soon as they come in. but of course I had to make alil money off my friend haha

You might want to look at techronics.com
When I bought my infinity kappas they were one of the lowest priced. They shipped fast.

yeah I gotcha, you can probably just get 2 8's under your back seat or maybe 1 10". im a kicker guy myself, got the 2 12" kicker subs in a kicker box with a 1000.1 kicker amp ?. it's all about what kind of money you wanna spend, JL's are on the pricey side. you could look into best buy for a 10" sub that comes in a box that should fit under your seat and right now they have a lot of stuff on sale really really cheap. Yeah I do. My friend lives there but im from norco/destrehan area which is closer to new orleans

i shop on the net but buy strait from the audio shop, personally i wont use best buy. when i first got into car audio i payed 140 for my sony radio and an extra 100 for installation, i wasnt happy about payin a hundred for install but i figured that was normal. over the summer after i gained some knowledge...... i bought my subs and a box from the shop for 270, it took some haggling but i didnt pay an install fee.

Yeah I feel the same way I an did the same thing. But that was about 3yrs ago when I turned 16. now I hook up my own double dins, subs and amp. plus all of my friends stuff when they ask me too, it's all really simple once you get use to it. Like right now im going hook up a rocker switch to turn my subs on an off instead of from the head unit. then when im done that im going to hook up some led strips under my dash by the pedals an under my seats.

I got it at radio shack, an yeah I hooked it up so I could do that too. plus if a cop magically comes around the corner, out of now where which they always seem to do, I can switch it off really fast.
