ive got a Kinetik HC800 that im not using. it looks a little small to be using for a primary battery but i used it as a secondary just for my system. if you wanna try that let me know.

im not real sure, ill see if i can find out. it doesnt have battery posts on it so i cant hook it up in place of my battery to try it. its got bolts that go in the top where you can put ring terminals but not battery terminals.

ok, no i dont think it would work like that. i went to www.kinetikaudio.com and they suggest a HC1400 or larger for battery replacement and then using something like what i have as a secondary. the battery i have now is an optima D34-78, its 750 cca and 870 cranking amps.

the kinetik would be good, its just more expensive than the c&d batteries and not as good....just email the company and tell them what you are looking to get

before i got my optima i had one of those yellow everstart maxx batteries from wal mart. i paid $90 for it and it came with a 2 year warranty. it also was rated higher than the optima, i believe it was 1000 cranking amps, i know they arent considered high quality but it worked fine for me and i havent noticed anything better with the optima. i bought the everstart a couple years ago and its still goin strong today in my friends truck.
