i .5 agree w/ loganberry. only upgrade your wire to 0 awg if your amp can handle it. 4 awg is fine for most people. if you started out running 8 and you didn't kill your truck then you're doing fine with 4 awg. big 3 upgrade is wiring over your factory battery ground, engine ground, and alternator power with 0 awg wiring. it's relly cheap and really helpful. i reccommend it for sure to anyone who wants to take stress off their electrical system. get a new battery, if headlights dim then do big 3 upgrade

please dont ever use 8 gauge for power and ground...im using 8 gauge for speaker wire =\

wow!! that must be a bitchin set-up! what kinda battery do you prefer? my current battery has 530 cold cranking amps. i had to replace it yesterday with the same size one

big 3 question...my alternator power runs to the starter solenoid? not sure? if so jus but 0 guage on both ends of the power wire?

you run on top of the wire which connects your positive terminal on your battery to your alternator

c&d technology batteries for the price are simply the best, there incredibly strong and incredibly affordable....i have 0 gauge for my sub amp (big 3 and 4 runs from front battery to back batteries) 4 gauge for my mids and highs amp, and 8 gauge for my sub wire

the big three is super simple....

upgrade power wire from alternator
ground out the alternator bracket to the battery
then bracket to the frame...really easy
