Angry capacitors...again

im having problems with system drawing to much power. i was at the store an my truck wouldnt crank. so a friend and tried to jump it off an got nothin. so i pulled the battery an got it tested. bad battery. they told me to check my alternator. it tested good but the bearings are shot. the guy at the parts store said if im runnin a big amp i need to get another battery or a capacitor. would it help my problem??

I agree...either get a decent Kinetic battery or an Optima Yellowtop. You do NOT need a cap, they are useless unless u already have the power there to charge it up, which sounds like u dont.

napa or car quest has optima style batteries and consumer reports say its better and cheeper. but dont waste money on caps. i only have one because it was only $15. make sure you have good ground, and your ground wire needs to be same size as main wire
