Ah well, its too late anyways i already bought the kicker amp. I don't see anywhere that it says it can flow 75 watts to 4 channels @2ohms. Straight off the alpine website. So rather than risk it i picked up the kicker amp off ebay last night for 350 bucks. The kicker one will work better for my situation anyways since it accepts high level speaker inputs.

Thanks for the help

I'm pretty sure but don't quote me on this. I believe the Alpine PDX amps have regulated power supplies so it doesn't matter what impedance is on the speaker. Meaning it will deliver stated power at 2,3,4 etc. ohms. It will be 100 watts regardless of speaker impedance. You're safe with your setup.

Same goes for the sub channel.

I have the JL Audio HD amps which do the same thing and they are immediate competitors to the PDX.

Good luck with your install!
Stokie.

Confirmed. Stable from 2-4ohm. You'll get 100Watts regardless.

Ya you guys were right. I could have gone with the PDX-5 I guess. Right now I bought that 5 channel kicker amp that accepts high level rca inputs.

Going to try that out without a LOC, and if it sounds like garbagio, ill add one in.

Thanks for all the help with the OHMS YO
