Default budget double din touch screen with BT

I'm looking for something which is functional but affordable. I don't need GPS as I have it in my phone. My must have are:

Double Din
Touch Screen
Blue tooth (for calls, A2DP for streaming audio isn't required)
USB/3.5mm connections

My optionals:
GPS, or ability to add it on later

I'm looking at this Pioneer for $350

but am open to suggestions, any thoughts?

I got the clarion nx407 for 500$. Gps, sat radio, bt, touch screen DVD double din. Supports a2dt, has USB in rear and a 3.5aux in front. It's a good enough unit and won't break the bank. Have a good installer set it up if you've never done that kind of work, but it's not terribly complicated

I googled your unit name and nothing came up, but I did find this:

Is that the one?

EDIT:

Also will I need any other parts to install it? I see I can get it for $360 elsewhere and it seems I'd rather hang on to my extra $140 if I can.

nx409, my appologies.
ide reccomend the bt device accessory, sat radio accessory, and steering wheel adapter.
it ends up being around 700 with everything, but ill be honest, i have never been the kind of person to skimp on anything for my cars. i do it right the first time.
sure, you can spend the 350, but after a month, and specially if you play with any other double din, how happy will you be? youll probably want to upgrade it after that. then youre spening money AGAIN for the same thing
i say just shell out the extra couple hundred and get something youre going to love.

if you smoke, cut down half of what you smoke, theres your money. same with drinking or any other habits that cost money.
my problem is, i have 3 project cars, and no bad habits lol

but anyways, just get what you think works best for you and do it the right way.
feel free to reference my thread if you need any ideas, or pm me if you have any tech questions

Default 2 DIN touchscreen radio

Nice choice!

I am going to try one of these. The location is simply one that does not expire like eBay.

More to come after it arrives.

I hope you have not purchased from this site yet. It seems very fishy. Looks like a scam. Look at the e-mail addresses on the website not even from the company it self. This looks like one of those places in Hong Kong where they have hundreds of websites selling the same stuff at incredible prices. I would stay away.

After re reading your post I am assuming you did not purchase from them. It is better not to link to these bogus sites since some members may purchase from the site think you did and get ripped off.

I ended up getting the pioneer avh p3200bt based on its very strong reviews by actual users at numerous sites. The nx409 suffered from poor reviews at some sites for interface. I couldn't be happier with the pioneer. The install was not only easy, but actually enjoyable. I'd never installed a car stereo before, though I have built numerous computers. I haven't enjoyed doing electronics work since back when motherboards were loaded with jumpers.

Oh, and instead of digging around for my parking brake or rigging a toggle switch I used the 12v relay switch to swap to the ground after the accessory power kicks on.

OK the package arrived on April 28th.

Nothing fishy about it at all.

The product looks good with the exception of the analog TV antenna input. I am trying to find a match.

I will try to get this thing installed when I get back out of the hospital.

Good idea on how to get the bypass working.
