Nice man! Well I will take some measurements in the area behind my seats and I will attempt a ported box in the near future. I'm going to ditch my plastic wall soon and build a replacement from mdf to mount amps and center my sub in the cab

Is that a dual voice coil sub? Looks like you have plenty of space to build a ported box.

Well I've never had a system. At the beginning I thinking, ill just get my components and amp...did that. Then I said I'll just get a little bass...did that. Now I already want to get louder since the April 28th install, but I just don't have the funds for new equipment after just purchasing all this. So I think a ported will make me satisfied. I do have 2 pioneer premier champion series pro 10" woofers in my room, they are 800w rms for each one.

ahhh gotcha. I dont really have any experience with shallow mount subs but my gut instinct tells me that they wouldnt sound all that great in a ported box. I would say just build a good size sealed box. now i would definantly put those pioneers in a ported box.
