are you pulling power straight from fuse 38? Or using it for your 'remote wire' to signal turning the sub on/off?
If you're pulling power, from a add-a-circuit' on fuse 38, which one did you buy? I'm having trouble finding add-a-circuit fuse suitable for the amount of current to be used by my amp. (125 watt, 12 volt, means in excess of 10 A, most of the add-a-circuit are for low current, not 20a)
and did the fuse box cover close after putting on the add-a-circuit?

You should power your amp directly from the battery. The add a fuse was just for the remote wire.
