jensens have a problem with the screens getting stuck, just ship it back and they will fix it, its usually because the yellow wire gets disconnect at the wiring harness

Sorry to hear that you bought a flip out. And why a Jensen?? That sucks for you.

I didn't know jensen had such a bad reputation. I googled the unit you bought and it looks pretty decent, but from what the other guys are saying, you should return it and exchange it for something else.

jensen is ok. they dont usually last as long as the more expensive but not everyone can afford a 1500 dollar pluss radio.

All the hating on Jensen is nonsense. I have owned 3 different units and I know several people who have them and none of them have had problems. Jensen offers more features for less money than the other brands. Audiovox bought the parent company of Jensen back in 2003 and has really turned the Jensen brand around. I had a D3 for a while and I replaced it with a Jensen. I have also owned Eclipse and other Pioneer multimedia units and I still prefer my current Jensen VM9022 over all of them. I don't care what other people think. I just know the features and functionality that works best for me and the Jensen (especially the current models) are outstanding in so many ways.

I know what you're saying NaplesBill. A guy I work with had a Jensen and had nothing but problems with 2 different radios and he took them back and got a Kenwood and it has been perfect for 3 years now.

That looks, good, is it a 97/98? Did you have to mod the dash at all?
