What depth and volume do you have in the box. What amp are you using?

Boss subs are terrible. We need to know what amp your using, what type of box your using, and what kind of bass that you want.

Oh man, 2 for under 60? There are certain things you just dont cheap out on, audio equipment is one of them. In my experience, cheaping out equates to poor sound quality and low life span.

For around 70-100 bucks you could get a more than adequate 10"-12" that will be far better sounding than any 2/$60 combo and last a heck of a lot longer.

Not trying to lecture, this is just from my experience form my own doings.

He is correct. It's not quantity in audio, but quality that makes you loud and makes you sound good.

well its a 1991 ford reg cab so the best space i can get is 4 1/2" depth with a 13" tall box and i dont need anything real good just make the truck stereo sound better than it does...and i was thinking about going with a JBL BPX500 amplifier that is rated a 500w (2x250w)
p.s. I was only looking for 8" subs cause of the space issue

You can get a JL 250W mono amp and power one of their lower end 10/12s that will sound great for under 200.
