Boss is what most people would consider entry level or budget sub. Your not going to win a SPL contest with them but they are still a big improvement over your stock system.

I was bored so I looked up the sub and if its the D10F then its not that bad of a sub. Its by no means a JL 13.5 flat piston sub but not everyone can squeeze a $600 sub into there budget. I would ignore the 1000w rating on the sub unless your using a equal brand rated amp.
Over all.....a decent sub and you get what you pay for and by no means garbage like some people are quick to say.
