Default Big time upgrade! Thoughts or opinions welcomed!

I currently own a 08 FX2 SCrew and I am looking to upgrade the stereo before I work on the engine bay. Below is a list of what I have on hand and what I am looking to purchase. Opinions and or suggestions are welcomed, I am not looking to rattle the neighbors house I just love a upgrading everything I own. HA

Pioneer Avic D1 ( I have owned the unit for 4 yrs never installed it into my LS)
Pioneer Rear Camera
Pioneer iPod adapter
Alpine SPX-13REF 2-Way 5.25" w/ Tweeter component system (Front Speakers)
Alpine SPR-57C 2-Way 5 x 7" (Rear speakers)

I'm not really sure what kind of input your looking for but your putting a 4 years old HU and replacing the factory speakers with alpines? Sounds pretty common and not really a "Big time" upgrades. I say go with what you got and throw an amp and a sub in and you will have a pretty good sound. Unless you really want a "Big time" upgrade then sell what you got and then we can talk

My bad it is small stuff but it is a lot better then stock is what I should have said. I have a 10" and amp from a older vehicle that I might install but I need to check fit today. Alpine makes the best speakers in my opinion.

I have seen people do it and if it's a smaller amp i MIGHT.... Just not alot of air in there to keep it cool...

I am all for a decent head unit and speakers... I have been enjoying my texas music at much lower volumes as I get near my 30s... LOL

I've seen guys put amps in the dash under the head unit, but not in the console. There is plenty of room behind the rear seat.

Why not step up to 6.5 or 6.75 comps?
