Default Big props to Joe Fox / Fox Acoustics

I finally ordered my Fox Box yesterday for my truck. I just checked the tracking and it is on the Fed Ex truck and out for delivery already. Granted, I only live a couple of hours away from where Fox Acoustics is, but I still wasn't expecting to receive it this fast with free shipping.

I probably won't have time to get my amp & subs and everything installed until this weekend, but I'm going to test fit the box tonight and will try to get some pics posted.

Here are the pics. Now I can't wait to get my amp hooked up and the speakers in it.

Yes, it is for 10" subs. It fits perfectly, with no seat lift needed. It also came packaged really well. I'm very impressed with it so far.

Their web page says the mounting depth is 6.5" What kind of subs are you putting in there?

I'm putting in a pair of JL 10w1v2 4ohms. Their mounting depth is 4.34 in. I'll have plenty of room to spare.

Awesome. Looks like I'll be going with the Fox Box. I was curious about how the depth would work. I was going to put some Audiobahns in there since they mound 5" and I thought they sounded pretty good. I had 2 of them in my 2002 Exploder with a Rockford Fosgate T1000BD with a sealed box and blew my mirrors off. Now that these seem deeper, I'm thinking about the JL 10w3's. Please let us know how the box works out once you get everything installed and thanks for the info.

I got everything installed this weekend and I am very happy with the outcome. I put the 2 JL audio 10w1v2 4ohm speakers in the box. I have an Alpine MRP-M500 amp pushing them at 2ohms. So far it sounds great with rock, pop, hip-hop & country. I'm still tweaking things a little, but I am happy. I didn't want window-shattering bass, but I have plenty of it.
