Sometimes I can not ignore my overwhelming sense of immediacy.
Yes I installed it myself. It litterally took 20 minutes.

Not a problem. The hardest part is getting the radio surround off. Nothing else needs to come off, just pull, hard. It may feel like it is gonna break, but take each clip one at a time and use something other than a screwdriver to pry it up.

New Pearl Blue Lariat-p3100018.jpg

At the bottom of the picture is my IPod plugged into the AUX jack in my 09. The cable was 9.97 at Wally World. Sounds much better than the RF adapter I had to use in my 03. That one was made by Belkin, and I think it cost about 20 bucks.

Their web site does not have the '09 listed (yet)

We can not all be as lucky as fqtravlr and have that beautiful (and well equipped) rig. The trucks that this applies to is mainly the 2004-2008 6 disc equipped trucks that have the "AUX" button but no jack. Starting in 2007 the jack was an option but not all had it.

just buy a 40 dollar i trip and, tune your stereo to 87.9 and play your music through the radio. That is what I do. Ive had mine for almost 3 years now and I love it!
