I researched and ordered the Visteon all-in-one Navigation HU. Should be here this week. It is OEM to many manufacturers and has all of the features I want, especially BT built in, and iPod integration. Map system is SD card, can play DVD's, CD's, CDR and mp3, 6.8 or 7" screen with controls on the bottom, built in BT without extra wiring other than microphone, full tilt screen with programmable tilt on start up. Sirius add on, too. Will be installing it in the coming week.

Researching it I think they also build for Kenwood but I couldn't verify that for sure.

(No association with Kenwood. Sorry if I mislead anyone)

If your truck is less than 3 months old it comes with a 3 year warranty. If it was purchased more than three months ago, warranty is 1 year. Lucky me I just bought my 2008 Screw in December!

I chose the Visteon because I hate the extras you have to buy right now to get a decent unit. Total cost shipped was about $1,100. By the time I added all of the same accessories onto the Pioneer, Kenwood, Eclipse, etc. they ran the same with a lot more wiring and pieces.

I'll try to post installed pix after I get it put in. Maybe by the first of February or so.

Hope this helps...It's a tough choice out there. Good Luck!

ITS ALL HANDS ON EXPERIENCE!!!

all companies make a good double din (for the most part) but i think kenwood has the best navigation on the market right now
