Default Best In-Dash deck with GPS, Sirius etc.

Looking to spend around $600-$1100, what would be a good brand/model? I have a 2007.

Thanks!

Apline or pioneer make a good deck in your price range. There are quite a few so i would go on their websites and browse around. Also, look up reviews on the decks. They help a lot.

Amazon has some of the best reviews on almost all products they sell. Just look up the various radios and read the reviews.
Crutchfield will tell you what is available if you send them your wish list and price range. You can do this on line at crutchfield.com and when they answer back they will assign a representative that you can call or exchange email or txt messages. They are very helpful and knowledgeable.

Thanks for the replies! Would I be able to find a deck that is able to push these speakers?http://www.crutchfield.com/p_500SPR6...R-60C&skipvs=T Or would I have to buy an amp as well?

If you choose an Alpine HU, you can add the power pack. 45wx4, plug and play and can hide in the dash. Certainly not going to blow the doors off but if you just want a little extra power without the install of a traditional amp. Will definitely sound better than the 15 -25 watts rms most HUs produce.

I have had excellent luck with the Alpine units over the years. Upgraded to the 928HD when I got my truck this year and I have loved it so far. It is my 3rd Alpine Double din unit over the years and is packed with features. They have an identical unit in a 6 or 7" screen that is in the price range you stated. The 8" is a bit over your max price.

I would go with alpine before any other brand. I have had very few of them and its not because of money or a bad deck, it's because they would last many years.

I've had just about every touch screen, flip out or double din. I even had the first one to hit the market 10+yrs ago. I really miss Eclipse because they had 8V pre-outs but they are sadly gone. As for now I have a Kenwood Excelon 990HD thats a really nice piece and highly enjoy it. Alpine used to be the absolute way to go but they just arent as nice as they used to be but they are still good. If I were you I would either pick an Excelon(Kenwood) or a Pioneer.

Can't go wrong with the kenwood excelon. I have the 890 I just installed yesterday and it's a great unit. With the Maestro harness your able to keep your sync and steering wheel controls. Also have sirius xm radio.
