I stole someone's picture here but has anyone tried looking behind the dash behind where the usb and 3.5mm jack is?:
Is there alot of stuff back there or is it realatively open. i wanna put this:

IIRC there's a lot of room behind the bottom part of the dash. Should be enough to mount that just fine.

On the last two trucks I've owned I mounted the bass **** on the plastic wraparound piece right above the carpet and below the stereo. Lined up below where your trailer brake controller is mounted. Its more stealthy and more accessible to me when driving.
