MTN GHOST RIDER

So I just got my new '14 EcoBoost appearance package truck with the Sony system in it. Is there any software or anything out there to be able to use the backup camera without putting it into reverse?

I just want to sometimes look at the trailer hitch if I have a trailer on and make sure everything is riding good back there.

Also, what about playing a DVD at any time? I haven't even tried to play one yet but in my Mustang, you had to be parked so I figure its the same thing.

Nevermind. I don't think the Sony system plays a DVD. But I still want to know how to use my backup camera at any time.
