2023 XL- Base 6 speaker steroe needs help
Hello all,
I have a 2023 Ford F-150 XL (Rattler). The truck came with the base 6 speaker stereo with no Satellite available.
The sound is very hollow and 'tinny'. I am a stereo newbie and a Chronic Migraine sufferer. When I can listen to music, I never blast it. I do like to hear it though.
My plan was to install the Ford Accessories Kicker Amp and Sub combination from my Ford Dealer.
The parts manager looked it up and this system is not available for my Base Model sterea.
I really want to add a richness and bass that isn't present in my stock system. I'm never going to be a 'Boom Truck' that bounces quarter or enters competitions.
I just want a simple install that will help provide what is missing in the sound quality from my Base Stereo.
Any help or suggestions are VERY APPRECIATED!
Please keep the tech talk minimal, as my only Stereo experience was adding Jensen Tri-Ax speakers and a Kraco Sound Booster to my 1971 Chevelle 350 Malibu back in the early 80's!
Thanks so much!

A powered sub behind the rear seat might be your answer then. They do not play loudly but will fill in the bass tones that you're missing without the impact of larger woofers. The Rockford Fosgate PS8 will fit nicely back there. I have them in stock and can build you a plug and play wiring harness for it. That unit also comes with an amp wiring kit so you can save money there as well. I have them in stock.

Just a quick update to this thread.
I worked with Bruce from Hush Car Audio and he set me up with a Rockford Fosgate PS-8 and one of his custom 'Plug & Play' wiring harnesses.
He was a pleasure to deal with and he delivered quickly on my order.
The custom harness was a quality-built unit, and his suggested Powered Sub was exactly what my truck needed.
I highly recommend @HushCarAudio , and I look forward to doing business with him again!
Thanks Again, Bruce!!!
