Avic 920BT Pics
Just installed the Pioneer Avic X920BT Nav unit in my 07 F150. Added some Pioneer component speakers that came with the unit free from Cruthfield and a Kenwood powered sub for a little extra depth. I'm really pleased with how it came out and can't say enough about how good Crutchfield are. The system really works well with my Iphone which is why I went with the 920. Thought I'd share some pics...
Cheers

Thanks for the comments, I can't really compare it to the factory sub - never had one - but I can say I'm pleased with it, it does exactly what I wanted. I wasn't looking for anything earth shaking, just wanted to add a little depth. The problem with reviewing the sub individualy is that Ive gone from factory head unit and factory speakers to the new head unit, plus new component speakers plus the sub so the overall difference is a massive improvement. The sub just works really nicely with the rest of the equipment.

Man that looks good. You read my mind!! I am watching an Auction for a new one now....Exact model....
Was anything difficult? Did the unit it selff come with an Antenna or was that extra? Can I ask what it cost from them?

And were you able to retain use of the steering wheel controls?

With Crutchfield you get a bunch of additional stuff included in the price that you need for the install like the adapter for the radio antena. The GPS antena comes with it. The X920BT was 899 after $100 mail in rebate and it came with the wiring harness for my F150, a pair of Pioneer component speakers, the dash mount kit, the Ipod cable and some other stuff. I would strongly recomend Crutchfield. I had to buy the PAC-SW adapter to keep the steering wheel controls, but it works like a charm. I've seen complaints about the VR and Nav on this unit but I love it. The bluetooth works perfectly with my iphone too.

If you are talking about the VR Library that loads when you use iPhone, you can turn that off. I had the previous model (Avic FB90) and it would take about 2 minutes to load cause I have over 2,000 songs. If you don't add music to it daily, turn off loading VR Library
