That amp is only a 900w RMS amp. 1800w is the peak output which doesn't mean anything.
The amp also puts out its 900w rating at 2ohm mono and it doesn't gain any output by going 1 ohm so stick with 2ohm mono load so the dampening factor doesn't suffer for no reason.
If your running a pair of subs that are single voice coil you will need 4 ohm coils in parallel for a 2 ohm mono load.
If they are dual voice coil subs then you will need dual 2 ohm coils wired in series/parallel.

I think that amp is not stable at 1 ohm, those subs only come DVC, you should get 2ohm DVC as Joe Fox said.

For a little bit more you can get a better amp like this, is Audioque, i have it and it's really nice amp, is 1 ohm stable have more power, and for me is more reliable amp.

If you go with the Audioque you have to get 4ohm DVC.

That Kenwood is stable at 1 ohm, but, as joefox stated, there is no power increase dropping from 2 ohms to one, and the amp will perform better at 2 ohms. Since those L7s are DVCs, you'll need 2 ohms wired series-parallel to get you 2 ohms.
