Default anyone run 1/0 through an 09-14 Screw

Thinking about running 1/0 power cable back to my amps. Not because i need it but because I have it on hand. Anyone run 1/0? Difficulty? Is there room under the sills?

I hope somebody will chime in. I think about running 1/0 to the back of my rear seat.

Not gunna lie, but that is a big *** wire to run just cuz you've got it around. If you need it, I would consider getting a DLO or welding cable, and just running it below the vehicle/above the frame. Use a weather tight grommet where you re-enter the cab.

I ran 1/0 welding cable in my 67 Nova from the trunk mounted battery up to the starter and also for my grounds.. Not that it really matters for what you are doing because it's a totally different car lol, but I thought I'd chime in and say it isn't really that hard to run, but I did it all under the car. Making tight bends inside the cab will be tricky, which is why I went with some 4 gauge Kolossus wire (not sure I spelled that right) for my setup in my F150.

If you are using wire this big, I think the thing most overlooked is the connections. People spend a lot of time and money running heavy gauge wire, but don't maximize their connections.

I honestly believe the best method of battery connections, ground connections, fuse holder connections, and power distribution connections (basically..ANY connections for larger wire) are best off being the solder slugged non-crimp ring terminal type with adhesive lined double wall shrink tube. They makes a bullet proof connection every time.

Real men wouldn't waste their time with 1/0, we use 500MCM.

I did, hardest part was trying to sqeeze it inbetween the trim and the back passenger seatbelt anchor (no pic sorry, you'll know it when you see it though). Do yourself a favor and just remove the trim when you get there.

Otherwise it went in pretty easy.

Another option is to run it underneath and then come in through the cab vents.
