Default Anyone here able to fit a 12" sub underneath the back seat?

The sub I am looking to get is 5 3/8" deep and wasn't sure if it was feasible to fit under the back seat. I would have to make a box for it...so didn't know if anyone had pics of their set up with a 12" sub.

Thanks!

I know there are a bunch of shallow mount 12s. Crutchfield has a few listed...
Google turns up a bunch.

Pioneer Shallow-Mount TS-SW301
Rockford Fosgate P3SD212
MTX FPR12-04

To name a few.

that's what I was afraid of...I'm trying to piece something together on the cheap, so I've been searching craigslist...I don't think this 12" that I'm looking at is a shallow mount...you think it won't fit, huh?

My previous Pioneer (not shallow mount) 10" barely fit so I doubt a 12" full sub would fit.

I bought an LMI seat lift kit for mine and am attempting to fit a JL 12W6v2 under my seat. Not sure if I will be able to fit it yet, but I sure am gonna try.

The supercrew sounds box for a single 12 advertises a 5" mounting depth available with a 6" magnet. If you can't fit it with their box, you pertty much can't fit it without a seat lift. They offer a box for deeper subs that includes a seat lift.

My 10's are on a fox box 10w3v3 have almost a 6" mounting depth and they almost didn't fit. I had to cut some of the vinyl under the subs to keep them from hitting the floor

thanks guys...

I'm going with a shallow mount 10" rockford that I found on Craigslist...

I'm going to pick up the PAC add on (AOEMFRD24)...this won't cause any issues with Sync, will it?

No Sony, No nav...just Sync.

Thanks!

I have a 12" Rockford Fosgate slim fit under my back seat. Came already in the box and ready to go. The box does extend about 2" from under the seat but not enough to get in the way. i put my amp under the small "flip up" seat next to it.
