Default Anyone have this happen?

Awhile back I posted about my cd player cutting out when I turned up the bass. Well I think I have figured it out. I believe when my bass is "hitting" it is shaking the cd player and causing the cd to skip. Has anyone had this happen? What can I do to stabilize the cd player more?

A friend had this problem, they went in and put some kind of cushioning under his box which was under his backseat. Not technical but it stopped the problem. What kind of head unit are you running?

No, i think the used the dynomat stuff, bass is caused by the air moving from the subs. His subs faced ub, the box was rattling too much so the cushioning just kept it from rattling the body of teh truck so much, i didnt notice a reduction in bass although i guess it may have softened it some.

the louder you get the more problems you will have, my deck goes to 62, i cant turn it up past 15 before mine skips (thats what i get for 8,000 watts) you can get some sound deadener but its not going to help all that much, get an ipod and load your cd's on it
