Just installed a kicker comprt 10 and cx600.1 amp down firing, sounds great!

Yeah the shallow mount is great, it thumps just as hard as regular subs

I don't agree with shallow subwoofers sounding as loud as regular subwoofers, mainly due to the limited Xmax. They are a great way to gat bass in limited applications where space is a issue. There are plenty boxes that fit under our seats where regular woofers work. I'm not saying they are crap but they do cost more

I couldn't settle for a 10, but a regular 12 won't fit under the seat so I went shallow, one shallow 12 is still cheaper than two good 10's. I was also able to maintain some floor space by not having to have a huge box.

I have one 8" in a small sealed box on the passenger side. Fits like a glove.

I'm trying to grt a subwoffer box for my jl 10 w3v3's. Did u used a fox ported box?

I got a 2.5" LMI seat lift and a custom box for 2 Rockford P3 12's. already made my back window leak like a mother and makes people nauseous! It's crazy how hard they hit for a sealed box
