and on the box make it yourself or have your local stereo shop make one for you

I had a guy at a stereo shop cut a JL woofer in half to show me what it was made of...lets just say im not going with a JL.

He also had a Diamond Audio sub, that was also cut apart, it looked 3X better than the JL.

I might make one just to save a couple hundred bucks that the shop would want for a custom one.

memphis also has good stuff

thats what my friend has in his s10 and it sounds real good, AND ITS LOUD AS S**T!!!!!!!

JL's will sound fine you aren't that far off on size.

I got 2 10" kicker CVTs.. planning on doing 4 under my seat for my ext cab f150... CHEEEAAAA!!! AM FINALLY GONNA MAKE MY OWN BOX FOR THE 1ST TIME!!!!.. I got the technology.. i can make it

Here is some freeware that you can use to calculate the dimensions of a subwoofer box, bass reflex tubing , acoustic suspension box size etc.
