I love to wire things up in cars/trucks. I'd rather wire vehicles than make a box for them.

not an option, saturn has a vecical imobilizer system that is ran through the headunit, in order to run a new headunit, I would have to relocate the old headunit and splice a hew headunit into the wiring.
at least that is what I have found out so far.

2001, I got it al wired up though.
i just used the high level imput into the amp, it sounds kinda distorted, but its in the trunk, and you cant tell from the inside.

the sub will sound distorted when the trunk is open because it has more airspace since it's not in a closed area due to the trunk being opened.
And yes the 2001's have the same exact radio as the Malibu's
