Default Anybody install 6x9 in a 2010 F-150 Lariat Super Crew? Issues?

I have a set of new Sony 6x9 at the house and I want to install them when I replace my mirrors (since I will the have the door panels off). I can trim the doors to make them fit, I know that. I am concerned about the depth. Has anyone else installed 6x9's in their front doors? Thanks

Don't trim the doors!!!! You will almost certainly have issues with the speakers if you do. Buy some or make adaptors if you definitely want the 6x9's. I think you will see an issue with the magnets hitting your window unless you get the right depth adaptors.

No reason to run a 6x9 over a good 6.5 or 6x8. On the same power there will be little difference.
