Yep, that's exactly what I just ordered, unfortunately it hasn't come in yet. I have been in touch with a guy here in Hawaii that does installs, hopefully him and I are going to get together and do the install together once it comes in. I'll be sure to post up some pics when it's done.

I have it. It's just awesome. Very intuitive, great sound, I'm very happy with it. The only downside is that for some of the functions (not just DVD, some of the system setup functions) you have to have the parking brake on. That's easy to bypass though, and if you get it and want to know how lemme know.

It does have an internal hard drive, I'm not sure if it's an actual HDD or solid-state. Either way, you can load maps, routes, etc into the memory and see them while you're driving. I don't believe, however, you can load them to memory unless you've got the parking brake on, or have bypassed it on the H/U.

I like it for the money, but it does have a few drawbacks. The pioneer requires the disc for loading a route, which is kind of a pain. The dvd functions require more than most decks to bypass. Besides the park brake to know if the vehicle is parked, it also will know you are moving off of the gps which requires depinning a wire and grounding it to completely allow viewing while in motion. For the same price, I believe the Kenwood DNX5120 will be a better choice, but with the $200 rebate on the Avicd3, it is hard to beat.
