ok you are asking for help to set your amp like the filters??? sub sonic and low pass

because that mostly depends on you box setting the gain by ear is not the best way to do it you should set it with a O-scope because even a little bit of clipping can kill a sub fast
sub sonic filter- the Hz that the amp will stop giving the subs power

but to set the filters if you have a ported box you tune your subsonic filter 5-10Hz below your boxes tuned frequency if you box is tuned to 40Hz then the subsonic should be set to around 30-35Hz any lower and the subs could have a over excursion problem

low pass filter- the point where the amp gives power to the subs you want to set this while listening to music so you only hear bass notes through the subs

Turn the subsonic all the way down.
Turn the crossover up to around 120hz.
Turn the bass boost half way up.
Play some music that has the kind of bass you listen to.
50-70 hz is what most people perceive as the loudest bass notes.
With the music playing set your boost frequency.
Set the boost level to your liking.
Now set your crossover to whatever you like "typically between 90-120hz"
If you have a ported box play some music with low bass notes and set the subsonic filter so the subs don't flop around on the low notes. If you have a sealed box, leave the subsonic all the way down at 20hz.

The most common mistake that I see is when people don't understand the purpose of the subsonic filter vs the crossover. They set the subsonic too high "50hz" and the crossover too low "70hz" which creates a bandpass effect and they only hear bass that falls between 50 and 70 hz.

The way i like is:

- Sub sonic all the way down (sealed) and 10 hz under box tunning (ported/vented)
- Bass Boost to 0
- LPF around 80-100hz
- Gain: is a little tricky to explain this way, but the best you can do i put your HU to 75% of it's total volume, and turn the gain up slowly until you hear your subs distort, then back up a little a that's it.
- Phase: doesn't matter, but you should put it in 0, 180 if you have inverted subs.
