Another new Kenwood DNN990hd and Maestro install!
After I got my 2012 FX4 I put in a Pioneer avic-z140bh. It was okay but the navigation was kinda dumpy and I could never get over "DVD" on constant display in the little info screen. Once I saw the Kenwood/Maestro combo I lost most of my rational thought and had to get it. And I did.
PTT button for Kenwood voice commands
Kenwood mic
Added a front camera. Picture on screen is reversed until I figure out how to correct it.
Still using my Pioneer speakers. They sound good and I like the tweeter design.
Notes on the Kenwood: the Garmin navigation is outstanding. Sound wise, I think the Pioneer sounded a little better but that's a subjective opinion. The Pioneer only had loudness and equalizer curves. The Kenwood has so many options to customize the sound I may not have found the proper combo to please me yet. Using voice commands on the Kenwood to search for album or artist only works when it's connected to wi-fi. It should have the ability to search ipod via voice but I guess that's what SYNC is for.

Update for future reference:
Remounted the unit so it sits flush in the dash, no problem there.
The camera issue was because the cmos-210 is mirror image only. I returned it and got the 310 which is a much better camera. Multiple angles and normal or mirror view. However if only using one 310 it still has to attached as a "rear camera" to use all the functions from the touchscreen and disregard installing the external button for it.
So other than my front camera saying "rear" I can have it come on the nav screen in reverse while the factory camera pops up on the rear view mirror. So now I get both camera angles which is kinda neat.
