Another 2013 kit on the way.
I assume some of you have spotted pictures of this unit, but there is now a part number FD6206B. It looks better than the Metra unit, but not exactly what I was hoping for. I am afraid with Advent giving up that this will be as good as it gets.

I would really like to see them keep the OEM HVAC controls, ditch the sync display (which they did already) and put the HU on the top. I think that they are pushing their touch screen HVAC because they think it sets them apart. It does, but to me not in a good way. I am personally tired of overly complicated HVAC systems. I miss the days of the 3 **** systems. No hitting the temp up button over and over, just twist it to where you want and you are good. The OEM HVAC setup is really fairly good in my opinion and I would prefer to keep it as is.

I can deal with the HU on the bottom. It looks better than the Metra but still no factory look like I want. I could use this until a factory bezel becomes available. Thanks for the post OP.
Just looked at the price for the unit for a ford mustang and it cost $429 bucks . Going back to hoping that someone just releases a plan bezel. It seems like no one is going to due to the 4 inch display.

Anyone have an idea what the myford touch bezel only costs? Wondering if I could obtain one and just modify it very carefully to fit an aftermarket nav unit.
Or is it not possible to just pull the sync module out and the radio completely and be rid of them and have an aftermarket unit installed standalone?

OK so I can pull out the radio. Good. What I originally meant was, the myford touch screen is what 7-8"? If I could get one from a salvage yard or depending on the cost a new bezel from ford or online I could then just carefully modify it to fit the aftermarket unit with the a/c controls all in the same place.
