Amp says it is a mono amp, yet it has two speaker outputs?
I bought this MTX amp that says its a monoblock amp, 250x1, yet it has two speaker outputs. It says it will do 100 watts x 4 ohms, 200 watts x 2 ohms. My subwoofer is a 2ohm. How do I get it to run 2 ohms?
It goes like this. Right +/- Left -/+
Right now i have it hooked up with the right positive, and the left negative. Is this wrong?
Here is a picture of the amp

If I remember correctly that is in fact a mono amp. I used to work at Circuit City and that was a cheap amp so a lot of people bought. The only bad side was that a lot of people returned it. You just have the single sub right? It should be pretty simple. The amp that I am looking at right now only has one set of RCA inputs, and two sets of speaker wire inputs L/R +/-. You should have it hooked up right positive and right negative.

for 2 subs at 4 ohms you connect + - and + -
for 1 2 ohm it would be +_ and _- the = from the right and the - from the left bank
